Do I need to book ahead, or can I just rock up?
We’re happy to squeeze you in if we can, but we book out fast — especially for bigger jobs. Best to call or message ahead so we can make sure we’ve got time, parts, and a hoist ready. No one likes wasting time, especially you.
How much will it cost
We get it — money matters. Some jobs we can quote easy. Others? Not so much. Cars love to hide problems until we dig in. So we usually give a price range rather than a fixed number. That way, there’s no surprises (unless your engine has a secret second life). We’ll always call before going ahead with extra costs. ( and we have afterpay and zip pay options on site )
Do you guys do logbook servicing?
Yep. All makes, all models, and your new car warranty stays valid. We’re fully qualified and stick to manufacturer specs — without dealership price tags or waiting room boredom.
Can I pay with Afterpay or Zip?
Yep, we offer both. Here's how it works:
Afterpay: You’ll need to use your Afterpay card through your phone’s digital wallet. So make sure your limit covers the bill and your card is ready to tap in-store at pick-up.
Zip Pay: We’ll set you up with a personalised payment link — easy as.
To keep things smooth, let us know at the time of booking if you’d like to use either option. That way we can get it sorted and ready before you arrive.
How long will the service take?
Standard services usually take a few hours. We’ll let you know upfront and keep you in the loop if anything changes. Need to get to work or school pickup? Let us know and we’ll work around it where we can. We don’t have a waiting room on-site, but you’re in luck — Bean Addiction is just across the road for a great coffee, or if it’s knock-off time, The Ale House does a solid beer. Easy spot to chill while we sort your car.
Do you service fleet or business vehicles?”
We sure do. Whether you’ve got 2 utes or 20 vans, we’ll keep them road-ready and compliant. We’ll even handle logbooks and reminders so you don’t have to.
Do you have a waiting room?
Nope… and that’s on purpose.
Our workshop’s built for work, not waiting. We don’t like to rush jobs or split our focus while someone’s sitting around waiting on a timeline that can change. We’d rather stay focused on doing things right (and safely).
Plus, we’d rather keep prices fair than charge extra for couches and coffee machines you don’t really need. You’re in the Barossa … grab a coffee at Bean Addiction or a beer at the Alehouse while we get your car sorted.
Do you work on all types of vehicles?
Pretty much, yeah. Cars, 4x4s, vans, utes — we’ve seen it all. Whether it’s the family SUV or your workhorse ute, we can handle it. If it’s something extra specialised or unique, just give us a heads-up so we can make sure we’ve got the gear ready.
Can you do diagnostic scans or fault-finding?
Yes we do, and we are good at it … because diagnostics is one of the trickiest parts of what we do.
Modern cars are basically computers on wheels, and figuring out why a warning light’s on or what’s causing that weird noise isn’t as simple as plugging in a scanner and reading a code. It takes time, experience, and some pretty serious equipment to get it right, but you're in good hands with Garage22.
